Return of the Sxwesum...

This short piece, primarily shot by students from Penelakut Island Elementary School (PIES), tells the tale of two islands (and many generations) working together to bring back the source of "Indian Candy". This inter-island trans-planting mission was made possible by the willing hands of many organizations (PIES, The Access to Media Education Society (AMES), The Galiano Conservancy, The Galiano Food Program, Penelakut Heath) + funding from BC Arts Council
